Veterans Day 2025

Florida weather graced us with 50 deg temperatures, but we still had a great turnout. Special guests this year included keynote speaker Larry Jackson, an Ambassador for the Tunnel To Towers Foundation and once again, we are honored to have our National Colors presented by members of the Cocoa Beach High School JROTC. We presented checks to both Tunnel to Towers ($1300) and our Voice of Democracy winner Braelyn Strandbakke ($200). The event was completed with a great luncheon.

Voice of Democracy 2025

Nov 1 - The Post received numerous Voice of Democracy entries and a panel of judges selected Braelyn Strandbakke as our finalist based on her treatment of the topic "How do I show patriotism and support our country" and a great oral presentation.

Little league (Minors) 2025

Fall 2025 - The Post sponsored one of the Minor teams from the Space Coast Little League. They had a fantastic start and their season runs through December 1st.

Memorial Day 2025

A Great observance was held at 1100 at the Post. Our Guest Speaker was George Taylor, President of National Homeless Veterans Support and a combat vet himself. The event was bookended by a stellar performance of the CBHS Color Guard. The attendance estimate was just over 100. This year we were covered in both the Cocoa Beach Explorer and the City newsletter.

VFW Day of Service 2025

May 3, 2025 - VFW Day of Service. The Post held its annual beach cleanup & hot dog roast. CBHS JROTC partnered with us to make it a great day.
